Privacy Policy

Clear information about the processing of personal data through this website.

Last updated: 1 August 2026

This notice describes the processing of personal data through the Radio Taxi 1924 website, consistently with the services and technologies currently in use.

Data controller

The website is currently managed as part of the Radio Taxi 1924 project. The project represents a taxi organisation that will be structured as a consortium in the future; the consortium has not yet been formally established.

The full details of the data controller will be updated after the consortium has been formally established. During this transitional period, privacy requests may be sent using the contact details at the bottom of this page.

Types of data processed

The website may process technical browsing data and data voluntarily provided by users by email or telephone. The website does not contain contact or booking forms and does not collect data directly through online forms.

Browsing data

IT systems and hosting services may acquire technical data during normal operation, such as IP address, browser and device type, date and time of the request, requested page and information required for website security and delivery.

This data is processed only to operate and secure the website, diagnose faults and prevent abuse. It is not used for profiling or behavioural advertising.

Data provided voluntarily

Sending an email or calling the telephone number involves processing the information provided by the user, such as contact details and the content of the request, solely to reply and manage the requested contact or service.

Purposes and legal bases

Data is processed to make the website available and secure, answer requests, provide information about the taxi service, handle pre-contractual or contractual steps requested by the user and comply with legal obligations.

The applicable legal bases are steps taken at the user’s request before entering into or performing a contract, compliance with legal obligations and the legitimate interest in securing, maintaining and protecting the website and related services.

Processing methods

Processing is carried out using IT systems and, where necessary, manual procedures, with reasonable measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, disclosure or unlawful use. No solely automated decisions or automated marketing activities are carried out.

Retention periods

Data provided voluntarily is retained for the time needed to respond to and manage the request, plus any period required by law or necessary to protect legal rights. Technical data and logs are kept only as long as needed for operational and security purposes, according to the hosting provider’s settings.

Recipients and external processors

Data may be processed by authorised persons and technical suppliers needed to operate the website, particularly the Aruba hosting provider. Where required, these providers act as data processors under the applicable agreements.

A visual resource on the home page is loaded from the ittaxi.it domain, which may receive technical request data. Links to the Apple and Google stores transfer users to those services only when selected or when the technical app-opening page is visited.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

The website does not directly transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area for analytics or marketing. Voluntary access to external services such as the Apple or Google stores is governed by their notices and any safeguards adopted by those providers.

Profiling, marketing and sale of data

The website does not use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar or equivalent tools. It does not use profiling or behavioural advertising, use data for automated marketing or sell users’ personal data.

Data subject rights

Where provided by law, data subjects may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, object to processing and withdraw any consent without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Complaint to a supervisory authority

Data subjects may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority or another competent supervisory authority in accordance with applicable law.

This notice may be updated following changes to the website, services or project organisation. The latest update date will always be shown on this page.
